Thinner Ankles
Hey all, I was wondering how I could make my ankles thinner. I'm a soccer player so my legs are already unporpotioned with my upper body, and I've been doing a plate loaded calf raise machine with about 3 45's for around 8 reps or so, this has made my calves bulky and not very toned and made them look unporpotioned to my quads as well, so I was wondering what I could do to make them smaller?

lighten the weights, do longer sets - ie, instead of doing 550lbs for 10 reps, do 300lbs for 20 to 25.
you should know, however, that muscle size is largely genetically determined - you can only do so much to alter a muscle's physiology.

The only tissue in your ankle is bone, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. You'll have to make your calves bigger or wear bigger shoes! :

it IS possible to gain weight around the ankles, but it'd have to be a heck of a tonnage.
