Tiredness in Eyes?

Hi,
I'm 19 years old and am slightly overweight for my height (i'm 11 stone 11 and 5 foot 8, or 173cms). I go to the gym almost every day, although i dont do too much (basically, i usually do the weight stuff every two days, whilst using the rowing machine, bikes, elliptical trainer and pulse stepper almsot every time i go to the gym). My legs are fairly muscular, whilst my arms are about average, and my chest looks slightly flabby. I am not usally tired in my body, but i have found recently that my eyes tend to be tired. I have trouble keeping them open, and it is usually only when i'm on the rowing machine for some reason. My diet is fairly healthy (i drink mainly water and fruit juice, and eat mainly fruit, vegetables, brown bread and some meat).

Does anyone have an idea as to what is causing my eyes to be all tired?

I get the same thing about 10 minutes into a class these days (and also when I was living in Norway - something to do with learning a language I guess), I have put my 'eye drowsyness' down to a lack of readily available energ (i.e. sugar) and boredom, is it possible you're bored while rowing ??

how good is HIIT (i.e. soccer)

then again I don't know anything so...

Maybe eat more protein. Ever since I started eating lots of protein, I've been a lot less tired and I can get through a whole day without feeling tired at all on 5 1/2 - 6 hrs. of sleep.

Go to the gym at the same time every day? Most people get a "slump" sometime throughout the day that lasts an hour or two. From 4-6 I'm a zombie. When I was working shift work it was brutal driving home (45 min). I would "wake up" about 10 min away from my house and not remember driving home. Pretty terrifying for the people I used to carpool with!

Try switching your routine up and see if that makes any change.
