Treadmill safety key lost - HELP!

Hi,

I have a WESLO CADENCE WLTL85054 Treadmill. We have lost the safety key and was wondering if there is someway to bypass that feature or possible "jerry rig" it to get it to work asap. I don't want to waste time searching all over creation trying to find a replacement.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't have an absolute answer to your question about the treadmill, but have you contacted the manufacturer for override options?

I just did a Google search for "WESLO CADENCE WLTL85054 Treadmill safety key" and got a number of references.

A manufacturer's attorney would have a heart attack if the company gave out override secrets. Do you remember what the key looked like? Maybe you could fashion one out of sculpy clay until a replacement arrives. (I don't have that type of treadmill but the key is simply a block with a raised ridge down the middle - very simple to copy).

With overnight delivery available would running outside for a few days be a viable option for you?

I had the same problem! My kids lost the key on me one day .
i ended up making a fake key out of pieces of cardboard, it worked. I just found our lost key last week: . Try it out it should work. Just take a few pieces of cardboard make it the shape of where the key would go. It will work once there is enough cardboard pressing against the button that starts it. Hope this helps.
