Tried pseudo-guerilla training for the first time today

I realize that it should come as no surprise, but wow! I usually do HIIT but not with such short intervals and obviously not at the same intensity. I'm not much of a runner, so that could have definitely played a part, but all I could do was just lie down on the floor when I got home this morning. I did 4 min warmup, 6x 20s sprint 20s jog, 4 min cool down. I didn't like the way I felt right afterward. I'm used to feeling exhausted but satisfied after a good workout, but today I just felt dead. I'm going to give it another shot later this week or early next week, but if exhaustion is any indication of progress then I'm certainly coming along.

Remember to slowly work towards the actual intervals in guerilla cardio. That is, 20s sprints, 10s jogs x 8. Good job so far though. Like I always say about guerilla cardio, its gets easier, but its never easy.

Yer HIIT cardio sessions are total beasts. I remember when i did one full effort after a few weeks off i felt like i was going to pass out and throw up everywhere afterwards. Also i couldn't eat for a few hours afterwards. Another thing that sometimes happens after HIIT is that you feel red hot for a few hours after you have finished the session, this is proof that your metabolism has been well and truley boosted.
