Want to see someone who is superfit?

These two individuals performing the workout in this video best typify my definition of someone who is superfit. Go to the WOD VIDEO section and click the one for Greg & Annie.

Enjoy!

That d/l took forever, but what a display! It made me tired just watching them!

There was a couple at my previous gym who used to "go" like that through their workouts. The woman was very strong and lean but she never used full range of motion or kept her body still in anything she did. She was in constant motion.

Dustin...normally jerking would be incorrect but for this type of insane stuff its cool...

Saving this file to show some of my students, might inspire a few of them to train harder. Might even try this myself after I am done with my present training protocol.

Nice find!

I know, I tried the same superset today, clean and push presses and pullups. I was breathing heavy after only the push presses and had to take 5 seconds to catch my breath before going on to pullups. After the pullups I was pretty zapped. There was no way I was going to do them all back to back to back like that though, thats insane. I wonder what percentage of their 1RM they were using and if they were going to failure. It seemed like they just kept going until they couldn't push fast anymore.

That's one of the popular and regular crossfit workouts of the day (WOD). Can't remember the name of it, but most of the WODs are named after the first name of the person who created it. That one consists of 21 reps, 15 reps and 9 reps for time. Obviously the 2 people in that video are crossfit studs.

I think most people who perform that WOD have broken sets and that's OK in the crossfit world.

The way they are doing the pullups is with the "kipping technique" which I understand is a good way to improve pullup rep counts.

I have found the crossfit WODs to be amazing and have actually done a couple of the non-weight versions which are just as tough. The first one was to see how many supersets of 5 pullups, 10 pushups and 15 BW squats I could complete in 20 minutes. I completed 14 supersets and my day at the gym was immediately over. It's tough stuff and I regularly check out the website daily to see what the WOD is and admire those who are tackling it each day.

Continuing on with the topic of this thread, here is another video clip of someone who I consider superfit - Ross Enamait, the "real deal". Enjoy!

For any bodyweight training enthusiasts out there, I highly recommend Ross Enamit's "The Underground Guide to Warrior Fitness".

Ya know......I puked just watching Greg & Annie! One heck of a workout.

I keep watching Greg's lower back and it seems to wobble a bit later in his sets. Hope he has a really strong lower back.

But it is very impressive.

I like how he incorperates his plyo's in there too. That backwards run with the resistance band...that really makes me wanna get some resistance bands

Does anybody else see the humor in that part? I just picture someone trying to do that and hitting the pole face first.
