Thumbs up

Warmup percentage

When performing warm up reps...what% of your normal weight that you lift would you start with? For example...If i normally use a curl bar at 100lbs, should I warmup with 75% of the total weight? is it a personal preference? sets? reps?

warmup sets are really just to get blood flowing to your muscles... you should be able to perform say 20 reps with the weight you choose for a warm up

I db bench 100 pounders for 8-10 reps on my heavy sets. I warm up with 60 pounders for 15 reps but not to failure. So I guess I favor 60% of my workout weight. Same with db rows. I do 90 pounders, and warm up with 50 pounders.
