we were wrong about fat loss!

A study done by the National Strength and Conditioning Association was just published regarding the ever-asked question: is it better to do cardio first or weight training?

You may find the results of the study surprising! I did!

This synopsis of a very small and limited study hardly suggests that "we werre wrong about fat-loss." I'm confident that the real answer involves a great deal more complexity.
Which Exercise Should be Performed First: Resistance or Cardiovascular?

Couldn't access the article. Only a link to sign up for your site.

I'm sure it is the same one MostMuscle was referring to in Cursor's link.

Scroll down and click on the 'Cardio or Weight Training First?' link. Yes, it is the same small 10-subject study, Brat.

Thanks cursor you were right.

It was a small report/recommendation too (one pdf page summary!)

As I said in MM's thread. I'm not surprised, the fat loss first people who promote strength training as an added benefit to CV training have been saying this for years.

Cursor,
the title was simply to get the article looked at!
I think it's interesting, as I am a big proponent of Weight training before aerobic exercise, as to get the maximum benefit out of the resistance session.

I am interested in seeing the numbers behind the study, and how significant the difference was.

I just thought it was interesting, and was being dramatic for title's sake!

Thanks gymcoch. MostMuscle has promised to provide me with a full copy of the study. I'm looking forward to reading it.
