Well, something went wrong.
Was just carrying some trash out from the building I work at...and suddenly felt like something had stabbed me in my right shoulder. After that I figured it was cool but then I went and simply opened a door with my right arm and felt the same pain, except a good deal worse. Guess I'm out of the gym for a few weeks...

OUCH! I feel your pain. Joint injuries can be a pain in the ________ <-fill in the blank. Best of luck on your recuperation.

Ditto. Sorry to hear about that man. Perhaps it was just a fluke and you just have a pinched nerve? I hope it's only minor and that you can get back soon.

Wasn't a joint so much as a muscle tearing in the area around my right shoulder-blade. I'll probably be back in a week or three, still irritating because it happened in a spot that basically lays me off from all weights since I wont be able to move anything heavy without putting some kind of stress on that area.

Sounds like either a minor rip in muscle fibre somewhere or like has been said a nerve trapped between muscle fibres depends on the type of pain (i.e. short bursts...) as to what it could be, either way though I don't think you'll be out of lifting for very long.

Its just short jabs of pain whenever I put stress on the area. I mean they'd be longer but when I feel them I stop doing whatever caused it :
I don't think I'll be out for more than a few weeks at most, hasn't seemed to get much better since it happened, but its hard to tell.

Hope you get back in the game quickly. Even though I've been lifting only since March, I feel guilty when I miss a workout. It's seems so difficult to get back in a routine once you break it. Hope it gets better quickly.

Went back in today for the first time in about 2.5 weeks. I was still having trouble a few days ago and I've been busy so I put it off for a bit, but everything went pretty good today. Started with weights about 10-20 lbs lower than normal, my endurance seems pretty shot right now. Probably be back to normal in a week or two though, just hope I don't accidentally re-injure myself.
