Whatever the case is for these men, I wouldn't call it luck. However being a women means things are different, not the least being your priorities. You'll get your shape in time if you want it enough so stick to it.

Funny how nobody mentioned HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training). This is cardio done in intervals with variable intensities. Heres some links:

I found this type of cardio to be best on a cut while still sparing as much muscle mass as possible.

Prior to HIIT have a protein shake(or Glutamine) and afterwards wait at least 30-45min before you start eating or consuming your shakes.
