Last night I did some leg work and I was really just trying out all the leg machines and the ab machines.
First was the Smith Squat:::
okay this machine I can see where is screws yup your form. I was still a little nervous using the
squat rack before I knew how much I can handle. SO i use this
Smith machine and OMG how do you get it to not hurt the bones in the back of your neck form the bar. The back of my neck is very tender this morning and I couldnt do full sets because it hurt my neck. Am I just not holding it right? because I see others doing it and it looks like it doesnt hurt them.
SECOND the Hack Squat:::
WHOA I was just thinking that this might be the same as a leg press so I put on two 45lb plates and OMG I had to have a guy help me come back up on that and I can leg press about 240 or thats what the machine said along time ago. I feel like I am such a wuss around all those people in the gym. OF course I havent done this kind of leg work in a long time so maybe that is why I cant do so much. I will keep these exercises in my routine and I guess just start off to where I can do 12-15 reps and then increasingly add weight to where 8 reps is tough.
