Working out Shoulders
When you work your chest, I know you are working your shoulders some. So I have worked shoulders into my chest day with triceps. I normally do 3 sets of chest exercises, followed by 3 shoulder exercises. Then 4 days later I will repeat again. I have heard that shoulders aren't too big of a muscle group, so I don't want to underwork them, but also I don't want to overwork them. Does this seem wise to do - working chest and shoulders on the same day to get the max out of each muscle group?
Thank you

Me Personally I prefer to do shoulders on a day I don't do chest because you are working them when you do chest. As a result your shoulder workout weights are lower after having blown up your chest. I usually do shoulders and traps on a seperate day so I can concentrate on them exclusively

Yeah shoulders and traps is a common one, I like to do that too, also I would like to add that you only work a small part of your shoulders doing benching motions.....so the extra stress of fitting in a shoulder workout to sufficiently tax them is just not worth it on the same day IMO

ummmm.. When working tri's on chest day you are hindering your chest workout. For example you work Tri's then you cant do as much on bench on the other hand you work chest then it hurts tri workout cause your tris are tired .

Shoulders
For maximum results, DO CHEST/BACK one day, then tri's & Bi's the other day, Shoulders/traps and legs on the 3rd day.
