Yay!

Hello Everyone, just excited and wanted to share some news with everyone:

First off, I finally broke through my wieght loss stall, I'm 259 lbs as of last night. I can really notice it also, as I was wearing a 44 relaxed from Old Navy (more like a 46 ) and now I can squeeze my butt into some really old 38 straight leg's, shrunk down to abouta 36/37. I dropped form 326 lbs, when I first stepped on a scale, but I think it was more like 340 when I decided I was too fat. That means I have lost over 80 lbs this year! (Yes, some say it's not healthy)

Also! I have started resistance training, with a workout simular to Lady C's (Thank you!!), and I feel great!

When was the last time I ran a mile with out stopping? NEVER until this week!! I have been doing "hiking" at about 3.5 MPH and 14% grade for 30-45 mins for two weeks and decided to see if I could run a mile, so I did! The first time was 13:40 and yesterday was 11:45!!

Sence I want to train more for endurance, as I want to start doing long distance biking (mountain, XC and Skinny tire stuff) that long term stuff is good! I have definition in my legs that I havent seen in forever, and I do have to say thank you to everyone here that has commented on my threads. It really really helps!

Any fat tire riders out there? What do you do for enduro? I'd even accept advice from you skinny tire guys

Thanks for listening to my rambling... I'm still on an endorphine high from this morning!

Congratulations! 11:45 mile is great!! If you want to train for endurance go back to the speed you were at for the 13:40 mile and do 1.5 mile then 2 mile. Mix up your cardio with HIIT, and endurance runs/rides. Continue with your "hiking" as well. Don't forget your weights!

Did my first leg workout sence I started lifting again, and let me tell you... I feel awsome Incline hip sled 315 x 12, 405 x 12, and 515 x 12. Stiff legg deads kinda sucked at 135 x 8 (x3) and calf raises at 115 x 12 (x3). I would be doing squats... but I dont have a spotter, as I'm usually the only one in the lifting area at 5:15 in the morning And I really dont feel comfortable doing that much wieght without a spotter.

I love lifting... and used to be quite strong, 305 x 2 bench, 600 x 2 squat, 1050 x 2 hipsled, 445 x2 dead... but I have never been very quick and have not had any endurance when it comes to cardio... this time it's gonna be different
