Anyone play a Musical Instrument
I played bass for 2 1/2 years, now I sold all my stuff and I'm getting drums! I got pretty good, like I can figure most stuff out by ear if you give me time! Anyone else?

I used to be in band, but I dropped out in high school. I regret it now because I'm interested in playing all the instruments and enjoy music. I'd like to play the saxaphone and all the other woodwind instruments.

I play guitar too. Being playing for awhile. Music is as much a part of my life as lifting.
Good luck with the pitch Gearhead!

Lol, I play the violin, I can play viola, and could play chelo and string base with a little practice. I had to learn something in 7 years of school orchestras . I haven't touched an instrument in like 9 months though (been to busy) but I really want to get back into it. I can play a some keyboard on the side too.

I play guitar and bass (going on 13 years) and I can cheat my way through some songs on keyboards and drums (a lot of musical chairs in practice in my early bands). I play just about every day and if I'm not playing I'm writing, recording or arranging songs. In fact, you can hear my playing (and singing unfortunately) in one of my one-man projects here . Just go to the 'sounds' page and check it out. A general warning is issued though...

The only instrument I STILL play is the flute. I like to play for my 3 year old and I also played for my sister-in-law's wedding.
I have, in the past (HS), played the piano/keyboard, saxophone, oboe, clarinet, and piccolo. Flute/sax/and oboe all have almost the same fingering so if you can play one you can learn the others if you try.

WOW I hardly talk about it any more with the Fire Dept. eating in to my time so much. Before 9/11 I was in a band that was pretty big in NJ and NYC INNER SOUL is the name. I'm still in the band we just don't play live as much. We had won 3 BILLBOARD song awards. (One step below "THE BILBOARD AWARDS") When the band started to slow down (We do Van Halen type stuff and we were told it's 80's sounding) I started a company writing and recording Ring entrance music for 2 local wrestling compaies here in NJ. Well one day I went to drop off a CD and the owner of one freaked when he saw me. At the time I hade a Gotee and LONG LONG hair. He says "I need you as a Heel" Well I wrestled untill 9/11 when I lost my brother in the towers. I then cut my hair and joined his Fire company. Phew long story!!

I sing, play guitar (and subsequently bass), drums, a little piano, and the recorder. My favorite? The recorder.

What's confusing about copyrights? They're fairly straightforward in theory, it's the practical applications that have become problematic over the last few years. All you have to do if you're sending things out are two things
1) Make sure everything is labeled with the proper statement of ownership. That means even the CD/cassette needs to be clearly marked. The text should read:
"song title" (c) & (p) 2003, "your name". All rights of the producer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved.
That will be good enough for most countries (the South Americas and the far East is another matter though).
2) To be absolutely sure, send a copy of the submitted work to yourself using regular mail. When the package arrives, leave it unopened. The postmark on the parcel will be your chance to prove precedence over anyone who tries to 'steal' your music.

Whilst at school I studied classical percussion and played in the school orchestra. I played everything from the triangle to Timpanis.
I also played drums for the school band and still dabble to this day, unfortunately I don't own a kit.

I know about sending regular postal to myself..but just heard a couple of nightmare stories about it online..
As for the regular copywrite I have the form but the form I have is 50.00 us dollars a song..I heard through the grapevine that there is a way to copywrite a group of songs together? do you know?..
Jaster..Ive never really had long hair...My department would let us have gotes if they were trimmed tight..Ive been in hundreds of structural fires and never lost a seal..I have lost air and water but not my seal...
You need to still wrestle! send more picts/please!!!
