Anyone play MUDs?
I used to play some a couple years ago (I'm 19 now). Haven't in a long time, but over the summer im interning in the city and I'm BORED OUT OF MY MIND, so I think I'm going to give one a try just to ease the pain.
If anyone plays on one, tell me about it and I'll give it a try, lots of time on my hands.

You talking MMORPG or classic text based muds? If you talking MMO check out http://www.mmorpg.com and read up on some yourself. I have played nearly every one of them and imo City of Heroes is one of the best out there

I played some text-based ones a few years ago, lost interest though after a while. There are tons of them, I played Avalon (actually costs money...kinda weird for a MUD but I did play it for 2 or 3 months) at www.avalon-rpg.com and Feudal Realms at feudal.betterbox.net...

I played a text based MUD for years at www.gemstone.net. It's a good way to pass the time in my opinion, as it helps improve your typing & speed reading skills.

Thanks guys - lookin for someone whos possibly still playing.
Jak, I'm talking about text-based RPGs. I'm at work so I figure its the most fun I can have without breaking any rules I haven't played any of the newer MMOs because I used to be so addicted to them that I didn't do anything else (mostly UO and EQ). I have heard good things about CoH, but if I do start up another MMO for any reason, itll probably be WoW.
So if anyone is still playing a text-based MUD (probably not, but worth a shot), give me a holler and I'll try and get a char running so we can play together.

played UO on chesepeake like 6 years ago, they turned the game into crap with power hour. That was around when I kind of stopped. I think I stopped right when the expansion after The New Age came out.
Ive also played some player hosten shards which are pretty cool, most of hte time better than the actual game, and, the best part, free
