Bad, Horrible movies?
Whats some of the worst you have seen? I must admit I did see Crossroads, Glitter and Gilgi. NONE I saw in the theatre, I saw on cable, and Army of Darkness - that movie I saw about 10 years ago or 6 years ago, I fell asleep.

Thin Red Line, Timeline, Torque and You got Served, are some off the top of my head.
http://www.imdb.com/bottom_100_films
How dare you say Army of Darkness is bad. That is a cult classic as is the entire series (It is actually Evil Dead 3) and is considered by many to be one of Sam Rami's best films (Yes the guy who did Spiderman). I remember the first time I watched it my friends and I were litterally in tears and had to stop parts of the movie and wait till I was done laughing. Some of the lines are classics:
"Good, bad, im the guy with the gun"
"Hail to the King Baby"

Yes, Torque looks bad enough, I don't even want to see it.
I had no idea that Army was or is a cult classic. I just did not get it?
Its different than what I like, my favorite movies are:
Clueless, Romy and Michelle's HS Reunion, Legally Blonde, Heathers, Blue Crush, Can't Hardly Wait etc. etc. Those might fall under my Bad, Horrible movie thread that I started, but I'm not posting them there!

Nightmare on Elm Street is a CLASSIC series although 1 and 3 are the only decent ones in the original series. They are the only two written by Wes Craven (He is credited in the other but only as the creator of the characters).
New nightmare was excellent as well because it was an original story again done by Wes =)

My test for bad movies is a little different. Something like Battlefield: Earth doesn't bother me because I go into that expecting it to blow and not just a little (and believe me, I wasn't disappointed).
The movies I really hate are the ones that squander opportunities. The Score and The Heist both come to mind. Great casts, decent budgets and stories that just plain insultingly sucked. Gimme twenty minutes, a legal pad and a freaking crayon and I could have come up with a better use of DeNiro and Ed Norton.
Godfather III is another one that leaps out. Tons of talent, a *huge* budget and what did we get out of it? A Sopranos bit.
THAT'S the kind of thing that drives me up a wall.

I'm a huge Raimi and Army of Darkness fan too. Can you believe that in the director's cut they dropped "good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun" and changed it to "I aint that good". WTF?! Not only that, but they cut out the freakin trampoline scene and the whole S-Mart bit at the end. I'm sorry I spent money on that directors cut. I guess a bunch of other people were mad about it too, because Raimi recently released the Boomstick edition with both endings, and all the deleted scenes. Now if I could just get someone to buy my director's cut...
But I digressed. One of my all time favorite horrible movies is "Hell comes to frogtown" starring Rowdy Roddy Piper. Two thumbs up! : : I guess I should explain.... I enjoy the hell out of a horrible or low budget movie. I think it's an art.

All time worst movie I have seen has to be "Krippendorf's Tribe (1998) ". I really like Richard Dreyfuss as an actor and thought this movie would be better. Of course "Natural Born Killers" would be a VERY close second.

Two films I think are rubbish are:
1. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (a whole lot of nothing)
2. Trainspotting (was HUGE for a while but it's all style, no substance)
Normally I just don't go out of my way to hate films, but these two really get to me because everyone else seems to like them??

Omg those two are classics in most movie circles (Non-mainstream ones at least). Trainspotting is indie film-making at its best and fear and loathing is just awsome.
