Seasons 1-3 were absolutely fantastic, I think season 2 was the best.
Each season has few episodes(6-9) unlike US seasons, but each epsiode is jampacked with total hilarity.
Its like a mix of friends+sex and the city but much much much better.
Learn about the giggle loop, whistling, and Gizelle the french bi*ch.
Absolutely BRILLIANT.

Season 1

This BBC television series -- intended to be a "Friends" across the Atlantic -- offers the same virtual scenario as the New York-based series, with one exception: a greater emphasis on sex. There's no comparison between friends and coupling. Coupling is in a league of its own (and I'm a friends fan).
The downside is that there are like only 21 episodes in the first three seasons combined.
If u dont want to rent/buy it, BBC america shows it on American cable sometimes(search www.tvguide.com) with no commercials!!
I get it on KQED.
It does take like 3-4 episodes to fall in love with it.
