I don't know whether to be elated or dismayed by the fact that my system looks like it'll play doom3 relatively well and I won't get to build a new one.

Damnit ATI dropped . Darn.
Geforce Fx doesn't really measure up(price wise) to same quality cards built by ATI.

My PC has a GeForce FX 5200 in it and I was wondering if that was reasonable to run the game. Pricewise I bought it about 7 months ago and it was cheaper than the ATI card that was for sale by about $10. Was really just something to put in there so I could play some games, before I just had 32mb of my RAM being diverted to on-board graphics.

Its called Vangaurd and I'm not that interested in it. I follow games as closely as I do movies heh.
EQ2 is going to be bad ass because it takes the best things from all current MMO's and fixes all the problems with EQlive (Which i played for 4 years). I have tried every major MMORPG out there (And a few obscure ones) and EQ2 is the first one I've been really psyched about in a long time.

Not even WoW? Now that looks like a quality MMORPG. I played SWG, UO, Earth and Beyond, Sims Online (What a disappoint), and a couple of others. Still, nothing has come close to what UO did to me. (Closed myself in basement for 1 week to play that game.)

I played WoW beta (Still can if i want heh) and it didnt really impress me. It is just another generic MMO set in Blizzards world =)
EQ was the only real addiction. I was playing 40 hours a week for 3 years and then I was playing about 20-30 hours a week for the last year i played heh

So you recommend not buying WoW? I really want to get sucked into an MMORPG world. Me and a couple of friends were thinking WoW, or Guildwars.
Il give EQ2 a shot as long as it isnt level grinding, I can't stand that. Housing, quests (that you DONT camp at and they then get stolen), huge world, and stuff like that is what get me sucked in. Not watching my character bash at monsters for 15+ hours to gain levels.
Eq2 graphics are good, but they sorta remind me of SWG but a bit more tweaked and fancy.

It would take me far too long to explain how in depth EQ2 is but I can assure you it promises to be the best MMO out ever. If you really want info about it check out this site:

Hmm, after reading about leveling and the archetype roles, Im going to be keeping a close eye on this game. This post about housing definitely caught my eye.

Apartment-like housing will be much more affordable. Some of these facilities can be quite large, too.

Super cool! :
