Eragon and Eldest

I have just read these books. They are great!!! If you enjoy the genre of fantasy fiction, you will probably enjoy these. The third book of the trilogy has not yet been released. The movie of the first book is due to be released in December. I highly recommend this book series.

I have heard of these books but havent read them..Right now I am still on The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan. The books are huge some of it long and overdrawn but the whole premise of the books focusses on some excellent plots and character development.

Oh yeah...

I'm a high school teacher, and I belong to a book club where we read juvinile lit. to maintain exposure to what teenagers are reading right now. Our school librarian uses her records to determine what books are checked out the most, and then a few of use read them and have discussions on the issues in the book, what kids are interested in, etc. This is the first fantasy fiction book we have read (Eragon). I then read Eldest because it Eragon was so good.

I think anyone who enjoys fantasy fiction, for example Lord of the Rings, etc. would enjoy this book trilogy (well, it will be a trilogy when the last book is released in 2007.)
