Essentials for dance, house, trance cd collection

I really love this music but I dont know any of the names of the groups/DJ's. I was wondering what are the essential groups I should have. I do have Paul Oakenfold and a few movie sdtrks, Alice DJ and The Crsytal Method. When I go buy these cds I just take my chances and grab any cd under that catagory!

What do you like? For house music I would suggest Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson, or Gene Farris.

For the harder **** then Paul Van Dyke or Tiesto is the way to go.

Check out my buddy Chris Santiago. He's making it big over here in Chicago. He's got a bunch of mixes you can download for free at www.xessentertainment.com

Try Massive Attack,Portishead,Morcheeba, and Solar Twins. More trip hop but I think you may like it.

I actually have Morcheeba and I love them! "World looking in" is my favorite (at least I think thats the name of the song?)! I will try the others you mentioned, especially Massive Attack.
