I read the book & watched the movie too. Bradbury is cool/weird in a Stanley Kubrik kind of way I think.
Wow, I didn't know about the remake... got a link?

What a whiner (Ray Bradbury). So ... no one can ever use "Fahrenheit" anything in a book/movie/media title. His attitude is downright petty. (Yeah ... I liked the book too, Jak.)

I don't thin Bradbury would mind so much if it wasn't such a controversial movie.

I also believe that Moore intentionally got the idea for the title from Fahrenheit 451. I dont think it was just some out of the blue decision which is what is actually angering Bradbury.

On the DL Show he said he got his movie title from an email, and thought it was clever, so I'm assuming he knew it was from 451.

Reason: changed 'move' to 'movie'

He was on the howard stern show this morning. It really does sound like a good movie, plus it has a lot of footage that wasn't shown on tv. Like when he's reading a book to the kids and they tell him what has just happened...and he continues reading for a couple more minutes instead of getting the hell outta there.

I liked Bowling for Colombine, so I could see myself giving this movie a chance...
Kind of off-topic, but I think they should do a re-make of Fahrenheit 451... They made it in the old days (like, before I was born) and we could do so much with that mechanical dog...
Sorry, I'm off.
Didn't Moore get booed off of the stage because when he went up to accept an award, he was bashing Bush?

The remake is already in the works. Estimated release is late 2005 =)

I'll be seeing it (surprise) but first I have to get a babysitter.
But I'm the convinced - I'm hoping enough fence sitters see it and realize what a national embarassment Bush is

I just got back from seeing it and it wasn't that bad.
It did make bush look like an idiot though lol.
A lot of people who see this movie will probably end up not voting for him in the upcoming election. There were also a few funny moments in the movie (at bush's expense lol).
