Keep all of your in-between sizes. Then you have clothes to wear all the time.

Buy a 33 or 34 with a belt?

If you are into fashion, you will buy a nice new pair of jeans every season anyways.

How high, high end fashion are you talking about?

I've found that whether you are cutting or not, there just is not the staying power in a lot of clothing style lines these days. For the sake of your wallet, buy cheap, wear it a lot and throw it away when the styles change if the quality of the fabric and construction even last that long.

If you bulk in winter and lose in summer, buy your summer clothes smaller than your winter clothes.

tell me about it! in september i went on a bit of a clothing spending spree only to find 3/4 months later all the jeans i bought were far to big for me! since september i've dropped from a size 36 to a size 32 (very happy tho!)!
