Fire Proof - the movie
My wife and I saw this movie last Friday:
http://www.fireproofthemovie.com/
It's a great movie and I highly recommend that every married couple go on a date to see it. It's not a mainstream movie so it may not be shown in all areas.
I guarantee you will like it. Men, you may even love it but if you don't your spouse will, and she might give you an extra kitchen pass for taking her to see it.

We had movie night last night. Went to see Beverly Hills Chiahia. Kid movie. That's what we mostly see now. As far as fireproof, It didn't seem like one that interests me, but now IDK, most men I spend time with have been to see it and most say that it actually brought tears to their eyes.

I'd be a lying middle-age hombre if I said that my ojos didn't get a little wet during the movie.

The preview looks good. If it doesn't show around here (we do have an art theater) I'll put it on my list to catch of DVD.

My wife and I saw it last night, and it was excellent.
I should have brought a handkerchief though, I fully admit to tears multiple times.
The theater was absolutely silent, in a good way, for most of the flick. No shuffling, no coughing, no munching, just totally into it. Except for sniffles from time to time.
I highly recommend it as a date flick.

Cliff, I'm glad you liked the movie, it's hard to imagine that you wouldn't.
I've told about a dozen people I know about the movie including several karate and other fitness brothers from a different mother. I told them that the movie was so good that I'd pay for them to take their wife on a date to see it. I also made this offer to my son except I told him I would pay for his date if he didn't like the movie, but if he liked it, the date was on his own nickel.
Several people who I made this offer to have raved about this movie, and none of them have come to me to collect.
