God of war vs Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3

Which one should I pick up first? I am low on money, and I only can get one since my job only pays minimium and I have to pay the rest of my doom 3 ce off soon.

Decisions, decisions... Man, this is a toughy. Please help me with my decision!!!

God of War, hands down. The first two Budokai games were wastes of PS2 discs.

and check a book out anyway. No rules saying you can't read AND play games :

Who uses joysticks anymore?

Cort, you've played God of War? How was it, was it as good as the reviews are making it out to be or is it overrated. I'm hearing alot that its mostly a better version of prince of persia type style gameplay.

Nope, haven't played God of War, but I am a fan of Prince of Persia. DBZ: Budokai? Another name for that is "really shiny frisbee."

Don't take my word for it though, rent them both first and give them a shot, and then choose the one you like more. You'll be out about $10, but you'll be able to make sure you are buying the right game and not wasting the $40-$50.

Good thing, I decided to save my money instead of wasting money on games that I will probably only play ounce since replay value sucks on video games for some reason... Maybe because the creators suck at making games, I like lifting weights more than I do play video games, is that how it is suppose to be???

I like reading more than I like video games, just depends on the person. Part of the reason is most games aren't worth buying since you can rent them for a week or two and beat them for 1/10 to 1/5 the price.

Only some of them are really worth purchasing, just make wise choices and you rarely have to waste a lot of money on games.

Also, books are just usually much cheaper unless they're hardback. The new Sword of Truth novel came out a few days ago, I'm going to order it now. Been meaning to do that

Nothing wrong with Dragonball Z as far as anime go, it just went on way too long. Basically they just had continuous plot repeats on every arch after the first or second seasons, which made a decent action cartoon into a redundant piece of crap.

Why do people like it? How many boys don't dream of having huge muscles and super powers (flying, shooting energy beams.....) at some point in our lives? DBZ is one of the first long-winded anime to get a lot of attention in America, so it has become a bit famous even though I wouldn't rank it anywhere near one of the best anime out there.

The point is to provide entertainment directed at young males (generally ages 8-14ish). Not really anything else to it. Don't throw all anime in with DBZ though, there are more mature shows out there with actual plots

As far as the DBZ games go, I agree. Throw them all into an active volcano :
