I have Jewish couple that I train. Last year (before I knew they were Jewish) I wished them a Merry Christmas, they smiled and said "Thanks, you too!". They weren't the least bit offended (I don't think... they're still clients, and have become friends). Even now that I know they are Jewish, I'll still probably wish them a Merry Christmas... perhaps a happy Chanauka too, whatever.

It's funny because the people who decided it's offensive to say things like this are most likely speaking out of ignorance.

Then the job is done.

Like so many other things, it's just the "idea" of something being forbidden makes it that much more enticing and pleasurable. You know, kind of like the grass is always greener, and wanting what you don't have,...it's all related.

Successful campaign, yes.

Of course it took forever for people to know what it was about, it was cloaked in candy-covered baubles and Nicole Kidman's enchanting being, to give that beautiful presentation without care to content.

Personally, don't care. It's still a visual masterpiece, (like many movies I really don't like but find them visually stimulating). Same for music.

I was not surprised when the Golden Compass came out. I wasn't surprised at what it's meaning was either. I am a Christian and read the Bible. This movie is just one of the signs of things to come. The Bible says that near the end, good will be bad and bad will be good. Read the book of Revelation and then turn on the news. These things that are happening to us and the earth are no surprise to me, it has all been written centuries ago. God and the belief of His son Jesus, will be considered bad. One day, it will be illegal to own a Bible again. This movie is the beginning of teaching our children that God is bad. For those of you who are believers and to those of you who are not.....hold on tight, because we're in for a rough ride in the years to come. You think things are bad now, just wait. I only pray that you all turn to Christ. He is not an opinion but a fact and everyone will find that out some day.
