Jaster would be perfect as Obelix !!

I cannot think of anyone better suited to playing Obelix than Jaster (assuming Jaster can act). All the other people who are freakishly strong look like prison inmates, Jaster is the only one who looks cuddly. He also has that mustache to boot. His eyes also seem perfect for Obelix.

If you like comics, do get one of the asterix series. An absolutely brilliant work of art. I must have spent hours laughing my ass off on those comics

They have made at least one before, I think another one is in the works, not sure. If you know anyone in the film biz, you should try to get an audition for that role.
There are rumors that they are making a tintin movie.
