Kingdom Hospital -- Stephen King

Stephen King's mini series. Of course I'm watching hacked to pieces since it's on the SciFi channel. But I've tried to watch it, I'm picking it up bits and pieces....I don't know how many episodes since some say five, but trivia says up to 15? It doesn't help I picked it up somewhere around episode 2.

Anyone heard of it or seen it? Any Stephen King fans out there?

I liked the books, but I haven't heard or seen anything about this miniseries. Do you think they'll re-run it so I can catch it on my Tivo?

I don't know if they ran it as a Halloween-type special,....but the weird thing was, they ran about 3 or 4 episodes, never showed the ending, and then I was watching some other episode of some different movie on TV. So they build you up with 3 out of 5, and you're eager to see the end, and then,...nothing.

I got into it too, it had a good premise. Just wish I got to see the end!

Andrew McCarthy was in it (out of his Brat Pack days),...as one of the doctors....I hope they show it again, it actually was pretty interesting.

I'm a SK fan, but I've never seen this mini series. I tend to stick to his books though. The only movies I've got are Christine, Needful things, and of course IT.

I think I have the move IT to thank for being totally freaked out by clowns now. For the longest time I didn't know that was Tim Curry. I love Tim Curry, think he's a great actor, versatile,...but this was the first time I didn't pick up any "Curry-isms" in his character.

IT was a pretty good flick, but I never read the book.

I have ecclectic tastes in reading too, very varied, but King isn't among my list of favorites. I like that he sets his movies in Maine, so there's referral.

I'm more of a Robin Cook fan, and he sets his movies in Boston (considering he has a home here, and used to work here),...so it's cool to have that for referral. Things like that are neat.

Love horror/thriller movies though, big time.

Probably because I need my own things,....and it pushed King right out of my mind.

But you are right on, that is a very good movie, and I like the psychological ride it takes you on.
