mod chips

I want to play ntsc games on my pal xbox. i've looked at a few site, but im not to sure what im looking for. in a few of the descriptions, it says "play import games" but im presuming that that mean converting ntsc to pal, since there american sites" any help would be highly appreciated.

all i know is mod chips allow systems to play burnt games

I believe the one on the XBox just plugs right in...lot better than on the PS2 where you have to send it out of country to get one put in.

too bad you arent in japan like me. there was an ad in the base paper of a guy doing xbox mods with hard drives, every nes and snes game, burned games, game copy, and the ability to play DVDs from other regions for like 180. im not sure if that comes with the hard drive but either way its a steal if only for the game copy.

You're half right, the ps2 does require some soldering, however anyone with the know how can do it...you don't send it to another country...get an electrician buddy or go to the city and get it done.
