We saw Bad Boys II yesterday, and WOW,.... it grabs you by the curlies from the get-go and just doesn't let go!
It's like a non-stop ride....
If you like that sort of thing,....you might like this sort of thing.....
And to think, I still haven't made it to T3.
Considering I usually get dragged to the movies a-kicking and a-screaming anyway....I think this is progress.

I downloaded Bad Boys 2 and I was kinda dissapointed. It is just another in a recent string of crappy Bruckhiemer films imo heh

THat was our rugby teams movie Last season. Everyone would hop in my moms minivan, I'd pop out my portable DVD player and watch FMJ... Sometimes Porkys. It would get us pumped up and then we would go out and get killed, but it was fun.

Yeah eyes wide shut was poor, did he do clockwork orange too, I remember when it came out (1971 - maybe I shouldn't admit to that) and there was a huge fuss made about it. My mum went to see it and ended up running out of the cinema too scared to watch it.
Well, it was on TV the other night now it's been un-banned (or what ever the word is) and I really can't see what all the fuss was about; compared to some films that have been made since, it's quite tame.

Aye it was Kubrik. It was just released in the UK after he died because he swore that he would never allow it to be shown there until his death because of all the crap he took from people in the UK.
After he died they re-released it =)

I think the biggest thing about that fuss was the drug laced milk that was dispensed out of a womans ( statue ) boob! LOLOL

Well Kubrick didnt want it show in the UK because he was receving death threats from people about the level of violence. He basically told Warner Brothers not to release it there until his death =)
By the way, if you havent, you should read the book. It is even better than the movie (Although much more violent and alex is MUCH more evil in the book than in the movie)

Chushingura --(can you tell he likes Toshiro Mifune?)
Shogun's Ninja -- (with Sonny Chiba)
Samurai I -- Hiroshi Inagaki (with Toshiro Mifune again)
........just the beginning.....

Hey Toshiro Mifune rocks! There was a great movie called "Hell in the Pacific" with him in. They did a remake in the 80's called "Enemy Mine" with Louis Gosset Jr and Dennis Quaid.
One of my fave Mifune movies was Zatoichi Vs. Yojimbo which combines the yojimbo character with Zatoichi (The Blind Swordsman movies) for a very good (And Dark) comedy/action.
