I listen to

dream theater(prog metal)
Mastodon(sludge/groove metal)
Children of bodom(death metal)
and metallica(older stuff)(thrash metal)

All Metal Bands, children of bodom are from Finland
I just try to get my blood pumping as much as i can and really psych myself up.

But don't worry. I'm not a metal head with head that goes down to the bottom of my rib cage, my hair is only about an inch long.lol

I currently have a playlist collection of rock that I like to 'crossfit' to includes songs from : Arctic Monkeys, Ozzy Ozbourne (sp?), Pantera, Dropkick Murphy's, Black Sabbath, White Stripes.. can't remember them all I don't have my ipod.

Not sure why but my taste for pop has diminished to be replaced for a love of heavy rock/metal.. strange that I now like to listen to obscenity-ridden music while I work out?

Nice selection! Thats what im talkin about!

at my gym, they play "Jock Jams 93" or some crap... you definately get mad, but not mad enough to lift weights, just mad enough you wanna leave, because you wait for the next song, its almost too funny that they would play LLCoolJ - I cant live without my radio... lol thats why mp3 player is my best friend

1. Muse - Map Of The Problematique
2. RATM - Meggies Farm
3. Metallica - Enter Sandman

i'm mainly into lighter stuff when i'm not hitting the iron. ya gotta stay motivated though..

There's only a handful of songs that actually get my adrenaline pumping for a big lift.

A couple I don't even know the names to, but a few are:

Twisted Transistor - Korn
UFC Theme
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Live For This
New Abortion - Rob Zombie
