That sound pretty good. I used to be seriously into metal so some of that I'm familiar with. I have children so the other stuff...I've heard.
Now that I'm older, I mostly listen to '80s soft rock. Not helpful in the gym. So I mostly just enjoy the clanking of iron and steel.

I thought already you liked rammstein when I saw your avatar. Remember when I first saw them play live in 1996 at the Zillo festival. It was just great fun.
At the moment I do not listen to music when working out as I have no stereoset in the garage. But when I had one I would use the music for the kind of work to do. That would mean, when I was stretching I would use some easy music that calms me down (eg, arcana, sopor aeternus, etc) and for the cardio, kicking, strength etc I would use music that gets me going. That can be EBM (like suicide commando, front 242 etc) or industrial music (TMLHBAC, blutharsch, ordo equilibrio etc) or the maschinenfest industrial (like sonar, monolith, dive, winterkälte etc).
But now I prefer silence when working out and just concentrate.

Definite lifting music is Marilyn Manson...unfortunately I have no MP3 player so I just use it to get pumped up sometimes. I'm surprised no one else mentioned him. My gym plays the radio. It's usually soft rock and makes me tired.

He is v.cool, I have all his albums although I gotta admit, I lost a bit of interest when Golden Age of Grotesque was released... For me, he went to commercial and the strength he put in his lyrics in his earlier work has gone man!
I forgot to mention, Slayer, Nightwish, Rob Zombie, Draconian and Gun n' roses!
