The Exorcist. :

But when I was a kid, the scariest movie I saw was the first Nightmare On Elm Street. I watched it again about 2 years ago and it was still pretty damn scary.

i have seen excorcist twice and did not find it scary at all.......

The newer texas chainsaw is pretty freaky... I would say the scariest movie I've seen this year is "the grudge".

waht do you mean by the newer texasa chainsaw are you talking about the one Texas Chainsaw massacre that was released last year or some other movie

Guess it must have been released last year... I think it's the only remake. It's worth a look....yeah, texas chainsaw with Jessica Biel.

I also liked jeepers creepers for some reason..

as far as the grudge... I should clarify.. I've seen the original "ju-on" and the American re-make.. The re-make is not as good as the original japanese version.
