What movies have you seen that are erotic/sensual but not porn? You know, they rev your engine but are only rated R or NR

I'll start
1) Pillowbook (wow - that movie is weird, but hot! and Ewan McGregor is hung! I can't get that image out of my mind. Every time I see him now I think of his package - it's a running joke between my hubby and I)
2) Pumpkin (it's weird that this movie got me hot. I think it was the hunky sweet boyfriend)

There is more, but I can't remember them

If quality is a factor at all, many of the those mentioned above simply don't cut it. I'm nearly of the opinion that those film makers who do "erotic/sensual but not porn" really don't have a clue. Clearly they don't think the way that my wife and I do. It'll be interesting to see what additional titles are posted (always interested ... in quality, that is). Where are the 4-5 star flicks in this genre?

I don't think there are any... that's why I never watch them, if I need to see it I just get a porn, that way I don't get my hopes up.

Have you seen Pillowbook cursor? I think that you and lady c would really like it. It's not one of those cheesy wanna be porn flicks. It is kind of weird and artsy, so you have to be into well made artsy/foreign flicks. Overall I'm not asking for a list of wanna be porn. I'm asking for movies that folks found hot. For example Pumpkin is far from an 'erotic' film. But for some reason I found it hot - like I said I think it was the dreamy, perfect, hunky boyfriend.

We watch Pillowbook last night. What a drag! We simply could not sit through it and found ourselves fast-forwarding through much of it. The while the story line might have carried some significance, the acting and production were disturbingly drab and flat. I'd rate this film: ¬MMMM
