I think I'll wait for the DVD, not particularly excited about it.

I'm gonna check it out at the matinee tomorrow, but I can't claim nerdhood. I prefer the term geek.

Considering the last two movies, I think I'll skip it and rent the original trilogy instead.

I saw it last night at midnight. I wasn't going to wait in line all day though. My cousin got tickets and someone didn't show up so he held a ticket for me to buy and called me up so I came down like 30 minutes before it started. But it was good. I liked it. It was the best of the prequels.

I've only seen the first released Star Wars movies ... clear back in 1977. Some day when I have nothing better to do, I'll rent them altogether and watch them sequentially.

Oh my gosh... if there is one movie to see, it's this one..
This movie, for me, is by far the best of the prequels, and maybe the best Star Wars movie ever. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but this movie is art. The entire movie I kept saying "oh my gosh" in my head as Anakin slowly transformed into Darth Vader, unable to believe what was happening before my eyes. It answers all the questions, and left me emotionally struck. Roughly 1 1/2 hours after seeing it, this emotion is still lingering in me. Honestly, no movie has ever done this to me before.
I have to say it again....
Oh my gosh.

I saw it Saturday. Every SW fan on the planet thinks he can make a better prequel than Lucas. That's why the prequels, no matter how good, will ALWAYS receive criticism. The fact is, the ONLY man who has ANY say in how they are going to be told is GEORGE LUCAS. Hated Episode 1? Too bad...because that's the way Lucas wanted to tell it.
<SPOILER>
With that said...Episode 3 was pretty good. Very sad...i even shed a tear at the end when Obi Wan turned his back on Anakin and leaves him to burn. The "Noooooo!" scream by Vader was pretty weak (it was no "Adrian!"). I thought the parallel fight scene between Yoda/Palpatine and Obiwan/Vader was pretty cool. I also thought Threepio could have had a bigger part. There was no comedy between 3po and r2 that makes the movies so great.
Overall...best of the Prequels. But better than Lord of the Rings: Return of the King? That's a tough call...

Well now im not going to even bother seeing it..I can't help myself reading the "Spoliers" lol... I just can't Im too curious.
I like the older .. or the 4th 5th and 6th ones better still. I heard Anakin had to bulk up 25lbs for the Revenge of the Sith.

12 dollars?
DVD rental - $3.00
Blank DVD - $0.40
Rip/burn time - 20 minutes.
Not waiting in line at the theater - Priceless.
Just kidding, I would never do that for real. I'm going to actually go see it in the theater. Of course I've already missed the entire opening weekend so there shouldn't be too much of a line.
IMO - A new hope was good. Return of the Jedi Was good. The others blew. Revenge of the sith I hope will be good. In spite of being told the ending already I hope to still enjoy it.
