Superman/Batman

Damn my wife!!
She went and got me a Superman hat for my birthday.
It has a black Superman logo with flames behind and shooting around it.
It is a real hot hat! It’s a fitted cap.
Well of course I had to go to DC comics’ website and well.
I used to be an old Batman and Superman junkie.
I remember running to the comic shop to pick up the newest releases.
Heck I used to have them hold the ones I wanted for me and pick them all up in one shot. I used to love the “Darker” Batman. When he’s not as good as most people think. Well I noticed that they have this new title. It’s Superman/Batman and it crosses the two. It has Superman being a goody goody and Batman walking the line. So far I love it and now I guess I have to ask the guy at the shop (Because there are like 9 titles that Batman is in) what’s the darkest Batman title out.
I can just see it now as he hands me a book and says (Like in the Simpsons)
“Darkest Batman ev-ER” LOL
Damn my wonderful wife for sinking me back into comics of all things.
Thank God I love her, How could I not? LOL

I grew up on Superman, the TV series and recently purchased a DVD which includes all 26 episodes of the first year TV series, circa 1952. It is wonderful black & white television and I'm enjoying it one episode at a time.

I had a Superman costume when I was a kid.

And I grew up on the Batman TV series.

Life was simpler in those days or so it seemed.
