Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake)

Did anyone see it?

I seldom go to theatres -- (I dislike the experience of movie-going in and of itself),...but I enjoy movies.

I usually wait until everything comes out on DVD and then,....ehh, we'll see.

I saw it. Thought it was good, some parts were scary. Good flick overall.

I saw that one way back when it came out in theaters (November 2003?). It wasn't too bad, I'd still rather see the original though.

I just got done watching Evil Dead actually...that's one unique movie lol.

I'm probably just a 'fraidy cat though.

Not scary ?? you're a psychopath ... clearly ... J/K

We are talking about the TCM remake with the chick from Seventh Heaven in it yes ??

I spose it was not that scary really just farkin creepy ... the same feeling I got watching Deliverence actually, not scared just ridiculously 'grossed out'.

worth the psychological trauma though, definately entertaining .

Would deliverence be the flick with the gay hilbilly rape scene ? But really I am the biggest baby when it comes to scary movies. I saw abouit half of the exorcist and I still have nightmares (I saw it 2 years ago)

that's the one :

Isn't it funny how some things affect some people? I watched the exorcist and thought it was kinda funny ... not in the least bit disturbing but was creeped out of my skin by Texas Chainsaw Massacre which you had no troubles with.

interesting.

The TCM remake was freaky... A well done kind of freaky. It's probably one of the scarier movies I've seen in the last couple years... Up there with it is the Japanese version of the grudge: "Ju-On."

Ju-on is definately one freaky movie, but what's with the ending ?? Most of the weird/creepy japanese horror I've seen has a really f'ed ending. Kinda takes the fun out of it for me.

great flick though.

Oh man, you've got that right... You get these really creepy films and then get left with these endings and you're like, huh? Maybe a cultural thing I haven't quite picked up on yet.

Here's an interesting one....Uzumaki.

I dunno about it being cultural, I watched Ju-On (1 and 2) and Chak-Shin-Ah-Ri (dunno if you've seen it - involves cellphones and also has a crap ending ) with a bunch of my japanese mates and they all walked out shaking their head as well.

Uzumaki ? not familiar with that one ... will have to go check it out.

Uzumaki is not a stupendously great flick....but the weirdness factor is up there. It's about this small town of people who are haunted by spirals that they see.
