Anyone else seen it yet? Wanda & I saw it Friday afternoon. We liked it quite a lot, but thought it was kinda brief. It's only about 80-85 minutes long.
I'm a big fan of Tim Burton films anyway, but just want to know; How'd a weirdo like him land Helena Bonham-Carter for a wife? (She provides the voice of the corpse bride)

My kids want me to take them to see this. Is it OK for kids? Or too weird. They are 16 and 9.
Having not already seen it, I have no idea. Some of these things are ok, some just aren't.
It should be just fine. It's actually less scary for kids than The Nightmare Before Christmas was. Is the 16 yr old a girl? I ask because I doubt a 16 yr old male would care much for it. It's really kind of a sweet romance story--despite the bizzare premise.

my 17 (in feb) yr old saw that not too long ago - she *loved* it. she's an artist and aspiring animator and she was VERY impressed with the quality of the animation.
and of course, it's johnny depp. in our house, we'd buy full-price DVDs of the depp man reading the new york yellow pages.
to himself.
