van Helsing

This out in the states yet? Its due out here in May. Looks great from the trailers. I seen the first trailer when I went to see Dawn of the Dead, since downloaded it (trailer). Looks good though if, like me, you like the whole vampire / werewolf / frankenstien thing!

Should be a good flick. Who knows....maybe we will start seeing more of the old type of monster movies if this flick does well.

I went to see it last night. Not what I was expecting. It started out so great...but it definitely didn't live up to expectations.

It was entertaining, don't get me wrong, but there were times when the audience just bust out laughing and it was supposed to be a serious moment.

You'll like the movie, just don't expect it to revive the Monster movie genre.

yeah the begininning and previews make it seem really good, but it was incredibly cheesy and generic.

I think the best monster hunter movie was Blade

definitely entertaining like mikesteven says... but yeah, some of the lines/parts were sooo corny that everyone just laughed... the action was very cool though... you can never expect too much from action movies these days. I'd still recommend it if youre just looking for entertainment

i liked the first blade... dunno about the second one though, kinda just "eehh"

This movie was a great action and adventure film. There was a bit too much rope swinging ala indiana jones, and a few cheesy one liners that were wildly out of place...but the cg's for the wolfman, dracula and frenkenstein's monster were unbelievable, very entertaining. The three stories melded together very well without many conflicts. This movie was definitely worth my $8.50 ticket and I'll defnitely be buying the dvd as well. :

I would have been happier to just see Kate Beckinsdale walking around in that outfit for 2 hours.

Yea, she was definitely the highlight of the movie. I was hoping Dracula's wives would be hot and thought so in the beginning but as the movie wore on, I was more and more disappointed with them.

On a side note, Kate married this director she knows.

I went to go see it and it was one of the cheesiest most shallow movies i have seen. That had to be the most pathetic Dracula.

The one liners were just so bad I was shaking my head throughout the movie thinking this could not be real.

It was like Young Frankenstein meets Indiana Jones meets Gone with the wind....trust me STAY AWAY!!! LOL

special affects were the only decent thing in the whole film but not enough to save it.

The people took a hell of a beating and just kept getting back up but overall it was very entertaining.
