Jaster,
I have a select few oldies that I still listen to although they are WAY before my time. Here goes: Van Halen running with the Devil
Rolling Stones: Symohony(sp?) for the devil. That is pretty much it.
Thanks for all the songs guys keep um coming!

I guess this means I have to bite the bullet and ditch my 8-track, eh?

I've been hanging onto some Tom Jones and Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Shuckie darns....

Yup, the ROcky soundtrack gets me pumped too. It's the perfect music for motivation with training.

There are a few albums that I listen to when I work out....thank God for iPod.

Anything by Zeppelin is awesome for lifting. Also recommended: Big Wreck, Matthew Good Band, R.E.M.'s 'Monster' album, Garbage, and surprisingly, U2's 'Pop' album works well for lifting.

But I have to agree with some others here, that "Eye of the Tiger" is the *ultimate* workout song. I don't care how cheesy it is.

Lil'lifter, guys u have to listen to the
Terminator 1 Theme from the MOVIE or the Terminator 2 Theme which are very similar, nothing gets me more pumped up and psyched than they do its just the atmosphere the music creates, like asif your some terminator a beast. :P maybe my mind has goon to far here :P but great music!

I find it funny that their radio version of "Lets get retarded" is being so universally accepted. I expected there to be a big controversy as soon as someone figured out the original song title/lyrics, but as of yet it's safely riding the charts. In an era of multimillion dollar fines for momentary breast flashing on network TV, it's surprising to see anything questionable go by without a lawsuit.

Most of the songs by "Hatebreed", I always listen to "Live For This" before my workouts,as I don't listen to music while I train.

Hatebreed's music is "hardcore", and the lyrics are motavating......more positive then "death metal".

a few other songs that get me pumped are "Ghosts of War" by "Slayer"
"Creeping Death" by Metallica,"Wake Up Dead" by Megadeath, and some "Pantera"
"Hatebreed" is now my fav.
