When doing cardio trance is where its at, beats help keep my rythym consistent and helps pick up the pace when guerilla training, for lifting, I like crunk music, or grunge/rock music linkin park, metallica, limp bizkit, but my all time fave song while lifting is momma said knock you out - LL Cool J that song makes me work harder and it reminds me of LL's sexy body :

"Love, exciting and new,
Come aboard.
We're expecting you.
Love, life's sweetest reward.
Let it flow,
it floats back to you.
The Love Boat
soon will be making another run.
The Love Boat promises something for everyone.
Set a course for adventure,
Your mind on a new romance.
Love won't hurt anymore
It's an open smile on a friendly shore.
It's Looooove!
Welcome aboard - It's L ooooove!"

Here is a quick list of my favorite workout music
----------------------------------------------
Any song on the Rock Soundtracks
Disrturbed
Linkin Park
Skinny Puppy
Gravity Kills
Sisters of Mercy
Default
Nine Inch Nails
Puddle of Mud
Manowar
Nitzer Ebb
Front 242
Fugazi
Alien Sex Fiend
Gotta have a variety, else it gets boring, and thats definitely something you dont want in a workout.
