Pretty much anything by Pat Boone or Captain & Tenille.
I usually listen to some Nine Inch Nails when I'm running hard. I don't listen to music often when I'm lifting. I found my concentration improved when I took off the headphones during weight work.

I agree with everyone who said "Eye of the Tiger" jsut because of the Rocky movies haha.
Also "Rattlesnake Shake" by Skid Row.
"Poison" by Kix is a good song to do exercise to.. I don't know about lifting though.. maybe?
this is hard because I don't know if there's any specific genre you'd prefer.

I'd say almost anything from Judas Priest. That's what my MP3 player is loaded with right now, that and some Sabbath.
One of the kids actually did put "Eye of the tiger" on the player for a joke. It actually was motivational for my 4 mile run tonight.

Yeah I have a lot of Judas Priest some af AC/DC Back in black and Sammy Hagar OVER THE TOP. It's like Eye of the Tiger. But a good song on it's own.
Rattlesnake Shake is from Motley Crue. also try Kick Start my Heart, and Dr. Feel Good!

I just added a CD called The Monsters of Rap to my iPod...seems to do the trick!
Seconding the question about which Kelly Clarkson songs...I tend to get Behind These Hazel Eyes in my head for days!

I got a 2-disc set of the favorites from the guys at my "grip comp." I listen to it just about every session,(it was given to every competitor, it's got- "painkiller" "all guns blazing", "eye of the tiger" new heavy stuff and even johnny cash "when a man comes around" which I've actually enjoyed training to.
lately I've been liking to train to some "just say ozzy" and "bark at the moon" I dug those out, it's nice when you find old stuff and play it and really like it, I couldn't stand "bark at the moon" when I first got it at 12years old (it sucked) I love it now, I'll have to try "dairy of a madman" sometime since I've never actually heard the whole cd.

Tunes for Pumping
Being fourty people would usually think I like crappy stuff like slim whitman or lawrence welk hehe, But for my workout I use a mixture of Hatebreed, Madball, Crowbar, or even some Black Sabbath or Arch Enemy. Anything Henry Rollins does is aggression music for me as well and makes me wanna feel the burn !
Also because I am a straight edge Vegan people think I have to listen to new age music....I am not your typical tree hugger

Hey even vegans can like good music. I've been known to hug a tree or two in the past myself, except it was to get the squirrel I was having for dinner out of it.

what-songs-get-you-pumped
Anything by Britney Spears.
Oh wait any video of Britney Spears will get me pumped -literally- the sound will actually be generally turned off.
In all truth I have actually listened to that 'I love rock n roll' while benching and squatting a few times.
