Workout Music!

OK everyone, post your favourite pumping CDs, running CD's....What gets you fired up??

Personally i don't listen to music hen I run but when I workout it;s got to be Rock, kinda bad sounding with a kicking rhythm!

The MI2 soundtrack is an example...

Let's hear some suggestions!!

I alwas find that Metallica, AC/DC, Korn get it done pretty well for me. Anything hard rock or rap that sounds angry

If I could have it my way, I would have hard core rap/hip hop such as Dr Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Ja Rule, DMX etc playing in the gym, but I have to listen to and workout to whatever they play, usually it's whatever is on the radio, which usually isn't hip hop or rap!

Anything loud, fast, & relatively angry is perfect for liftin for me. I like alot of different types of music, but I can't imagine trying to lift weights while listening to Tori Amos or anything melodic & soothing like that.

Anything rock. AC/DC, Motley Crue, Rage Against The Machine etc...BUT...when I really need to dig deep (and I know this is kinda cheesy...but I love it anyway) I listen to any of the ROCKY soundtracks.

Track down some "Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies". They'll give you an extra 20 pounds on your bench. They're a punk band that does covers of old songs.

LOL!!! I once caught a Rocky tape in a friend's walkman...After a harsh interogation by me and 2 other buddies, he finally succumbed and admitted it was his, and worst, that he was listening to it while running...5 years later, and we still call him Rocky

I just couldn't stand the mental image of him doing a Stalone look while moving his head about and shadow boxing in the middle of the street...

so....

Tip of the Day: Watch who you administer this information to bud

I like a whole load of different styles, Eminem gets me psyched but so does other stuff like ACDC 'Thunderstruck' and The Prodigy 'Smack My Bitch Up'.

Wink

Anything that kicks in the adrenalin, stuff like Drowning Pool, S.O.A.D, Korn, Soil, etc.

And I also like Staind, R.H.C.P, Lost Prophets, P.O.D, and A Hundred Reasons. All good stuff!

Are you Apollo Creed? lol I guess you're still sore cause Rocky beat you in Rocky 2. lol Just playin man. The music that I usually listen to when I workout is a mix of hardcore metal and rap/hip hop. And of course, the Rocky soundtrack...take that Apollo Creed! lol
