Worst. Movie. EVER.

Oh my god I saw Matrix Revolutions last night and it sucked horribly.
It made me miss the long speeches from Reloaded
first 30 minutes started off so-so but then for a whole hour after that, and throughout the whole movie, occasional cutting to different, 2 minute scenes, was a long stupidass machines vs Humans battle where it consisted of the General guy in a mech suit going 'NOOOOOOOO' Shooting a machine gun for an hour.
Oh god and the ending.
Highly dissapointed.
Matrix just went down hill from the first movie.

I liked the first movie pretty well, but two sucked, and three sucked only slightly less. Just MO.

(It took me 4 minutes to try and read that colour and font! But once I got through that),....

I agree with Liftgirl.....One was excellent, but like most (but not all) trilogies, I think they went down hill from there. Many of them seem to devote their expanded budgets to greater special effects and less story line and plot and character development.

One grabbed my attention, but the last 2, while visually a treat, .....bah.

Okay so now that we all agree,...

Out of curiosity, what trilogies DO we like? (I'm going to gather the whole "Lord of the Rings" is a trilogy most people adored, so let's skip that, or....expound on it,...not just list it).

But I am curious as to what trilogies people found enjoyable (since, as we all agree, most go downhill after the first one).
