Wot do the americans think of x and y by coldplay?? As it is number 1 in evry country. Its their bes material by far. I cant remember any other british band doing so well in america. Marrying Gwyneth was a very good idea for Chris i feel. Best track is what if.

currently the only coldplay album that i have is x and y which i love. The best song is talk by far. Soon i will get the other coldplay albums and see if there as good. I usually listen to harder rock but i think its nice to listen to something soft.

just listened to the album again and found a new song that i now love, its called fix you. I also hear that today coldplay will be performing this song amoungst others at live 8. Who will be watching live 8 this weekend, its going to be massive in the UK and most of the world it seams. Just wondered what kind of support it will be getting from the american audience.

What bull**** the idea about harder rock is. Yes, hard rock is good, but if u can't see genius when it hits you in the face, ignorance is highlighted. also coldplay sound nothing like radiohead. They are worlds apart. The only thing in common they have is their nationality. As a fan of both bands, i like BOTH in a totally different way.

Coldplay are OK, but I'm not a huge fan (mainly because their new stuff just gets thrashed on the radio until I can't stand to hear it).

Hard-rock is OK as well but I find most of it is too 'I'm a spoilt teenager angry at my dad because he won't give me the keys to his car so F*********K!!!' was fun when I was 15 but I spose I can't relate much any more.

Really getting into the Dave Mathews band at the moment, The Urge is also cool ... when it comes to working out though nothing beats ****ty techno-pop
