Your thoughts on the Movie industry...

do you think they are running out of ideas for movies? you have your basic, Drama, comedy, horror,Fantasy, and you could say S-Fi.

i donno it just seems to me there isnt really any good movies out now or they are making movies with different versions of the story.

i am looking forward for the last Star Wars tho. and if Peter Jackson does the Preque to LOTR

I dont think they are running out of ideas. To tell you the truth I dont see enough movies, to even make a judgement. The last movie I saw was Mr. Deeds when it opened. It sucks for me because my bf will ONLY go see a comedy, and me, I will watch anything, but I am not going to the movies alone, and I cant ever find anyone to go w/ me?

I do want to see Monster and the new Johnny Depp movie!!! Why dont you throw some ideas out for some movies???

I believe that mainstream hollywood is not out of ideas, they are simply too lazy to think of new ones. Just look at independant films if you want to see a prime example of original movie making. While some are stereotypical, the majority are fairly original. Movies like PI, Blair Witch, and Memento all came from Independent roots.
