Jogging is not a way to increase 40 meter sprint times. Any improvement would be insignificant. f

That's like asking if lifting 50 pounds on your bench press will help you be able to lift 200 pounds.

Jogging is jogging and sprinting is sprinting. If you want to run fast, you have to practice running fast.

jogging works slow twitch muscles which need more oxygen
sprinting works fast twitch muscles which use much less oxygen
jogging=enderance&stamina
sprinting=speed&strength
like what he said before

That's like asking if lifting 50 pounds on your bench press will help you be able to lift 200 pounds

they are 2 completly different things jogging wont hurt but it do much for your 40 time

jogging actually does help if you do it for 5 miles because it helps strengthen your ligaments and your muscles actually . And bench 50 pounds would help you increase your bench if you did for reps of 100
