arm workouts and playing football

Hey its me again. Im always writing about football. Well, im having troubles finding workouts for the arms. All i do now is dumbell and barbell curls. I love the barbell curls, but the dumbell curls can be annoying. Well, seeing that i am only 5'5, and weigh 155 lbs, i cant play any positions BUT QB, HB, and Punter or Kicker. I played punter before, but this weekend i tried practicing kicking, but i cant kick if it meant my life. Im trying to get some advice on how to kick and throw. Im looking into playing QB and Kicker, or at least earn a position as one, not necessarily as a starter. Can somebody give me some advice on throwing and kicking, and also some arm workouts? Thank you.

I hate to break it to ya but at 5'5" you ain't going to play quarter back! Nothing against your skills but you'll be too short to see over your O-line to get passes off. I playing backup QB for my team (I started this weekend!) and even I'm a little too short @ 5'11".

To improve your throwing get out there and throw! Also get yourself a weighted football from Eastbay for about $16. They weigh 2 or 3lbs and will really improve you power. That said power is nothing without accuracy so practice!

@ 5'5'' youd be a good sumo wrestler!!!! jk Uhm first gain 50 lbs then talk about what position you want to play, because at 155 the only thing you could play is kicker/punter/long snap catcher in a college level....harsh but thats reality.

thats not entirely true, our starting QB at my school is 5'6 but hes a good scrambler. the only bad thing is what u said, he cant throw over the o-line, so mostly he throws to the sides, but i guess it doesn't really matter that much since we're a running team.

That is the reason you won't see someone who is 5'5 playing quarterback. I'd say you have a real good chance at HB if you are fast and shifty, ever seen Iowa's, Pittsburgh Central Catholic, Warrick Dunn ..... **** what am I doing, look at almost ANY running back and most of them are short (better to hide among the linemen).

Work on explosion, quick feet, speed, ball carrying, all that stuff HBs are known for. Is this for college or high school?
