back fixing

hey all.. i have 14 and a little bit of scoliosis (where the spine curves and for me to the left 11 degrees) someone said to me that if i would put my feet on the wall, lay on my left side, and and do side sit ups like that my lower back on my right side would contract and pull the spine back into place ever so slowly...do any of you think that this would help any?

im not sure the actual spine is curved, im not sure how much the muscles supporting that actually have to do with the condition.

well scoliosis is where the spine is actually curved...the x-rays they take you can see the 11 degree curve crystal clear. and the guy who told me this thinks that the muscles could help because one is bigger than the other. so if i did these, it would make the muscle bigger, hopefully moving the spine as it progresses...think this will help?
