Best benchers/squatters in the world?

I have heard that the world record bench press is peaking out at around 900 pounds, and the world record squat is at about 1,008 pounds. Does anyone think these are false, or think they get higher? Post your comments.

I dont think they are false. But I also dont think that the people doing these lifts are natural powerlifters either. So of course these records will be broken, thats what records are for. But that kind of weight is mind boggling, I dont think most people understand just how heavy that is.

1000 pounds on your upper back is an amazing amount of weight for your body to support.
