Football, aspiring linebacker


hey i was just wondering, what kind of workouts could i do to enhance my chances with linebacker/running back positions? any certain supplements or anything, not steroids though, creatine etc. any suggestions??

Just work out hard and often. Don't neglect speed or quickness. Lateral movement is essential for your position (LB and RB). You don't need supps to do anything and if you aren't willing to work incredibly hard than there is no point.

At my high school a year or so back, everyone took stuff. Last winter I did not take anything. I managed to gain more than anyone on the team strength wise. Im not saying supps are overrated, its just that they are not steroids and will not make you stronger (mainly talking about creatine). Its all hard work.

thanks, so basically work on my speed and movement and coordination? cuz i'm comingup on my senior year playing football, and i wanna go out good, we don't have the best football team neither, so you know, i wanna try to make it the best year

big power full movements( squat, deadlift, bench.).. and throw in some oly-esk exersises, power cleans, power snatches .

keep a high level of overall fitness. and do sprints.

most importantly eat right. good nutritiouse food..


There is a ****load of info on the net.. look around.
