getting into lacrosse

Hey, I'm a sophmore, and I've never played Lacrosse, but I did crew before. i wanna join my lacrosse team this spring, but Im worried since ive never played. do schools let you play on the team if youve never played, and 'train you' in some way? also, what muscle groups should be the focus of my workouts for lacrosse? Thanks!

Hey bro

From a former laxer, it really depends on the school. Being a rower, you've got endurance for years. There are some nice sites out there about Lacrosse.

Grab your stick and start beating the crap outta a wall if you haven't already. Throw high, throw low....just make good use of that wall.

work your whole body for lacrosse...lift with a routine like that of a bodybuilder

you need upper and lower body strength as well as explosive speed and endurance
